Patient Information
Welcome to our practice. At Family Medicine Center we are committed to providing our patients quality healthcare. Please call our office and schedule your appointment with one of our seven family medicine physicians. We offer same day appointment scheduling. Our new and established patients need to bring their insurance card(s) and photo I.D. to each appointment.
Prescription Refill Requests
Prescription refill requests should be made by calling your pharmacy first. Please allow two working days for your request to be completed by one of our physicians. Please check with your pharmacy as to the status of your prescriptions. Prescription refills will not be completed after hours or on weekends.
Test Results
Lab tests and diagnostic testing results will generally be reported to you as the patient as soon as they are available. Reports are generally available within five working days. You will receive a call, physicians note or email from Next MD with your physicians comments and recommendations.
Referrals
Referrals needed to specialists appointments and diagnostic testing will take three business days to complete. Please call our office with advance notice to complete your authorization request for your referral from your insurance carrier.
Illness after hours
At Family Medicine Center there is a physician available to speak to after the office closes and on weekends for emergencies. Please note prescription refills will not be completed after clinic hours and therefore are not considered emergencies.
